Aim
Nusantara: Journal of Law Studies publishes high-quality research and conceptual papers in law, with a focus on contemporary issues in the Asia-Pacific region. The journal promotes critical dialogue and scholarly exchange on legal theory, practice, and reform, highlighting the interaction between law and cultural, religious, and socio-political contexts.
Scope
The journal welcomes original research, conceptual analyses, empirical studies, and critical reviews from scholars and practitioners. Key areas include:
Law Studies – Legal theory, comparative law, and contemporary legal reforms.
Islamic Law – Family law, economic law, criminal law, Fiqh al-Siyasah, and Maqāṣid al-Sharī‘ah perspectives.
Human Rights and Social Justice – Gender justice, minority rights, and legal protections.
Environmental and Regulatory Law – Governance, public policy, and environmental protection.
