Errata and Corrigenda

Post-Publication Corrections Policy

For the purposes of this policy, the term editor refers to individuals responsible for making final decisions regarding manuscript acceptance and publication in Terabit: Journal of Informatics and Computing.

Changes or Additions to Accepted Articles

All published content is subject to the journal’s editorial and peer-review standards. If authors wish to make changes or additions after acceptance, they must submit a formal request to the editor.

  • If the new content is additional to the accepted article, it must be submitted as a new manuscript and will undergo a full peer-review process, with reference to the original article.
  • If the new content is intended to replace or correct parts of the accepted article, the editor may consider publishing an erratum or corrigendum, depending on the nature of the correction.

Erratum

An erratum is issued to correct errors introduced during the production or publication process by the publisher.

  • All production changes are reviewed during the proofreading stage.
  • Authors are encouraged to carefully check proofs before publication.
  • If an error is identified after publication, authors should contact the editorial office.

Corrigendum

A corrigendum is issued when authors identify errors in their published article that require correction.

  • Authors must notify the editor and provide details of the correction.
  • The editor will assess the significance and impact of the correction.
  • A corrigendum will be published if the correction does not invalidate the overall findings.

Editorial Decision

All decisions regarding corrections, including whether to publish an erratum or corrigendum, are made by the editor based on the nature and impact of the error.
