Reviewer Guidelines

All manuscripts submitted to Terabit: Journal of Informatics and Computing are initially evaluated by the editorial team based on their relevance to the journal scope, compliance with the template, and adherence to author guidelines. Manuscripts that meet these criteria will be sent for peer review. If necessary, authors will be asked to revise their manuscripts before the review process.


Evaluation Criteria

1. Presentation

  • Does the manuscript present a clear and coherent argument?
  • Are the ideas logically structured and easy to understand?

2. Writing Quality

  • Is the title appropriate and reflective of the manuscript content?
  • Is the writing clear, concise, and easy to follow?

3. Length and Structure

  • Is the manuscript length appropriate?
  • Are there sections that need to be expanded, reduced, or reorganized?

4. Title

  • Is the title concise and informative?
  • Does it reflect the main contribution or findings?
  • Are abbreviations avoided in the title?

5. Abstract

  • Does the abstract clearly include:
    • Objective of the study
    • Methodology
    • Main findings
    • Conclusion

6. Introduction

  • Does the introduction clearly explain the research background?
  • Is there a clear literature review and state-of-the-art discussion?
  • Is the research gap and novelty clearly stated?
  • Are research objectives or problem statements clearly defined?

7. Methodology

  • Is the research method clearly described and reproducible?
  • Are data sources, instruments, and analysis methods adequately explained?
  • Is the methodology appropriate for the research problem?

8. Results and Discussion

  • Are results clearly presented in tables, figures, or structured data?
  • Are results relevant to the research objectives?
  • Is there a clear comparison with previous studies?
  • Are findings properly interpreted and discussed scientifically?
  • Are limitations and implications clearly explained?

9. Conclusion

  • Does the conclusion answer the research objectives?
  • Are implications or recommendations provided?
  • Is the conclusion written clearly in paragraph form?

Review Decision

The reviewer should recommend one of the following decisions:

  • Accept Submission
  • Minor Revisions
  • Major Revisions
  • Resubmit for Review
  • Reject Submission
  • See Comments
