Author Guidelines
General Guidelines
- Manuscripts must be original, free from plagiarism, and have not been published elsewhere. If previously presented in conferences or seminars, authors must clearly state the event.
- Manuscripts should be prepared using Microsoft Word (DOC/DOCX) or Rich Text Format (RTF).
- The manuscript should be written on A4 paper size with margins of 3 cm on all sides.
- The manuscript should use 1.5 line spacing, single-column format.
- Figures, tables, and charts must be embedded within the text and properly labeled.
- The manuscript should be written in clear academic English. (Indonesian is accepted but English is strongly recommended).
Structure of the Manuscript
The manuscript should be between 4,500 – 7,000 words and organized as follows:
- Title
The title should be concise, informative, and not exceed 15 words. - Author(s)
Full name(s) without academic titles. - Affiliation
Institutional affiliation of each author. - Email Address
Corresponding author’s email. - Abstract
200–250 words in one paragraph, including objectives, methods, and results. - Keywords
3–5 keywords representing the core content of the manuscript. - Introduction
Contains background, literature review, research gap, and novelty. - Method
Explains research design, data sources, and analysis methods. - Results and Discussion
Presents findings and interpretation. - Conclusion
Summarizes key findings and contributions. - References
Must include relevant and recent sources (preferably from the last 10 years).
Citation and Reference Style (IEEE)
- All references must follow the IEEE citation style.
- In-text citations must use numbering format, e.g., [1], [2], [3].
- References should be listed in numerical order based on citation appearance.
- Authors are strongly encouraged to use reference management tools such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote.
- Ensure all cited works are listed in the reference section and vice versa.
Research Notes
Research Notes provide a platform for sharing preliminary findings or ongoing research. These submissions should be concise and focused.
- Maximum length: 1,000 words (excluding references).
- Must include author contact information.
- No abstract is required.
- Will be reviewed for clarity, relevance, and quality.
Review Articles
Review articles critically analyze and synthesize existing research in informatics and computing.
- Must be relevant to the journal scope (Computer Science & Informatics).
- Maximum length: 7,000 words.
- Should provide comprehensive analysis and critical insights.
