Peer Review Process
All manuscripts submitted to Terabit: Journal of Informatics and Computing undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process to ensure the quality, originality, and academic integrity of published articles.
In this process, both the reviewers and authors remain anonymous to each other.
Review Process
- Submission
The author submits the manuscript through the journal’s online system. - Initial Screening
The Editor-in-Chief or Managing Editor evaluates the manuscript for scope, formatting, and plagiarism. - Plagiarism Check
All manuscripts are screened using plagiarism detection software (e.g., Turnitin). - Peer Review
Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are assigned to at least two independent reviewers who are experts in the relevant field. - Review Evaluation
Reviewers assess the manuscript based on originality, methodology, clarity, and contribution to the field. - Editorial Decision
Based on reviewers’ recommendations, the editor makes one of the following decisions:- Accepted
- Minor Revision
- Major Revision
- Resubmit
- Rejected
- Revision Process
Authors are required to revise their manuscript according to reviewers’ comments and resubmit within the specified time. - Final Decision
The editor evaluates the revised manuscript and may request additional reviews if necessary. - Copyediting and Publication
Accepted manuscripts proceed to copyediting, layout, proofreading, and final publication.
Review Timeline
- Initial screening: 1–2 weeks
- Peer review process: 4–8 weeks
- Final decision: 8–16 weeks
- Publication: approximately 12–16 weeks after submission
Additional Notes
- Each manuscript is reviewed by at least two reviewers.
- The journal maintains a strict double-blind review system.
- The editor may assign additional reviewers if necessary.
- Decisions are based on reviewers’ recommendations and editorial judgment.
- Only manuscripts that meet the journal’s quality standards will be published.
