Peer Review Process

All submitted manuscripts to Terabit: Journal of Informatics and Computing undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process to ensure the quality and integrity of the publication.

  • Initial screening by the editor to assess scope, quality, and plagiarism.
  • Manuscripts that pass the initial review are assigned to at least two independent reviewers.
  • Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on originality, methodology, clarity, and contribution.
  • Authors may be required to revise the manuscript based on reviewers’ comments.
  • Final decisions are made by the editor based on reviewers’ recommendations.

Estimated timeline:

  • Initial review: 1–2 weeks
  • Peer review process: 4–8 weeks
  • Final decision: 2–4 months

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.


Publication Ethics

Terabit: Journal of Informatics and Computing adheres to the ethical standards set by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). All parties involved in the publication process are expected to comply with ethical principles, including authors, editors, reviewers, and the publisher.

Corrections and Retractions

The journal will issue corrections or retractions in accordance with COPE guidelines when necessary.

Corrections

Corrections will be published when errors significantly affect the interpretation of the article but do not invalidate the results.

Retractions

Articles may be retracted if:

  • There is clear evidence of unreliable findings due to misconduct or error.
  • The article has been published elsewhere without proper citation (duplicate publication).
  • The article contains plagiarism.
  • The research violates ethical standards.

If an investigation is ongoing, the journal may publish an expression of concern.

  • June Issue
  • December Issue
