Criteria for Authorship

To be recognized as an author, individuals must fulfill all of the following:

• Substantial Contributions: Involvement in research design, data collection, analysis, interpretation, or manuscript development.
• Final Approval: Approval of the final version and agreement to its publication.
• Accountability: Responsibility for defending and explaining the research findings.

Contributorship Statement

To enhance transparency, authors may be required to submit a contributorship statement detailing each author’s role in the research. This ensures clarity and avoids misinterpretation of contributions.

Dispute Resolution

Any authorship disputes will be handled through a structured evaluation process. Authors must provide evidence of their contributions, and the editorial board may consult COPE guidelines to ensure fair and unbiased resolution.

Changes in Authorship

Requests for adding, removing, or rearranging authors after submission are only considered under exceptional circumstances. All authors must provide written agreement and justification for such changes.

Ethical Authorship Practices

Honorary (gift) authorship and ghost authorship are strictly prohibited. Only individuals with substantial contributions should be listed as authors, while minor contributors should be acknowledged appropriately.

Conflicts of Interest

Authors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest, including financial, institutional, or personal relationships that may affect the integrity or interpretation of the research.
