Author Guidelines
Submission Standards & Manuscript Preparation
General Guidelines
- Manuscripts must be original and not previously published. Prior presentations must be disclosed.
- Format: A4, margins 3 cm (all sides), line spacing 1.5, Garamond 12 pt, single column.
- Tables, figures, and charts must be properly formatted with spacing adjustments.
- Submit in DOC or RTF format.
- Title and abstract must be in Indonesian and English; manuscript may be in either language.
Structure of Paper
Manuscript length: 4,500 – 7,000 words.
- Title: concise, max 15 words.
- Author(s): without academic titles.
- Affiliation: institutional name.
- Email: listed under author name.
- Abstract: 200–250 words, one paragraph.
- Keywords: key concepts representing the study.
- Body: Introduction, Methods, Results & Discussion, Conclusion.
- References: relevant and from the last 10 years.
Citation Rules
- Use Footnote system with APA 17th Edition (full note).
- All citations must be referenced.
- Use citation tools such as Mendeley or Zotero.
- Qur’an citation format: (Qs. [Surah] [Number]: [Verse]).
- Hadith citation format: narrator name (e.g., H.R. Bukhari & Muslim).
Research Notes
Research Notes provide a platform for sharing ongoing or preliminary research findings. These should be concise (max 1,000 words) and include contact information and a brief author biography.
Review Articles
Nusantara Education promotes innovative and comparative educational research integrating local wisdom, gender equity, and global perspectives. Manuscripts may be written in Indonesian or English with a maximum of 7,000 words.
